Andrew Murphy FCA

I am a Chartered Accountant and formed Andrew Murphy Chartered Accountants (AMCA) in 1990. I am proud to say that AMCA merged with Randall Cole to form Murphy Collins in 2024. My principal aim is to understand my clients' needs and aspirations. Their business can then be structured in the most appropriate manner to achieve the clients' goals. Every client is different, and we must therefore adapt to each client: a set standard approach simply does not work.

It is my aim to ensure that every client knows we understand them and that we are “on their side”. Whilst I have lived and worked locally, I have developed a wide range of knowledge which enables me to advise businesses and individuals.

Away from the office I am intending to return to playing golf regularly and to ski occasionally. Sadly, I now spend more time watching the sports that I used to play.

Steven Collins FCA BSc Hons

I have been a Chartered Accountant since 2004. I formed Randall Cole in 2020, and am happy to say merged with AMCA to form Murphy Collins in 2024. I Have held board positions across a range of businesses including, of course, chartered accountancy firms, but also shipping, technology, engineering and waste management.

With this wealth of experience helping businesses across the country, I felt it was time for a change - not just for me, but for the accountancy industry. I am an advocate for technology and good management information. I love working with business owners to help them and with our personal clients I know that my hard work and dedication makes a difference.

Away from the office I enjoy spending time with my young family, exercising, martial arts, snowboarding and hiking.

Sophie Guerra MAAT

I have worked in a variety of different financial sectors for the past 25 years, including steamship insurance, property and project management, a brewery, and treasury for a steel mill, to name a few. I have been a qualified accountant since 2009 and set up my own practice in 2012, which provided flexibility with my then young daughter. I am experienced in preparing personal tax returns, company accounts, CIS and VAT returns and PAYE.

In April 2025 I merged my practice with Murphy Collins, an exciting venture, which I am looking forward to.

In my spare time I run my own greetings card and gift shop so, that with my family, gives little time for much else. That reminds me – I am meant to be joining a gym – watch this space!”

Joanne Ellis-Bailey FAAT

I am the manager of the company accounts department. My team produces the financial and management accounts for limited companies. I am a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and have been working in the profession for longer than I care to acknowledge!

I also enjoy playing golf, going to the gym and spending time with my husband and daughter.

Kevin Slater

I prepare accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders and their associated tax returns. I also prepare CIS and VAT returns and provide bookkeeping lessons.

I am kept very busy, when not in the office, with my family but, when I do have some free time, I like to spend it watching football (keen supporter of Sheffield United), walking and cooking.

Lisa Jarrett

I work in producing accounts and tax returns. I also deal with all aspects of the payroll bureau service that is offered to clients. I have good experience with Sage Line 50 and other accounting software.

Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Dean Tucker ACCA

Dean is an ACCA-qualified professional with experience across four firms, bringing a breadth of knowledge in accounting and finance. With a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and client service, he contributes valuable expertise to the team and plays an important role in delivering high-quality outcomes.

Outside of work, Dean enjoys traveling to new destinations and gaming in his spare time, while also caring for two energetic dogs.

James Spencer

I joined Murphy Collins in 2025 as a part qualified ACCA accountant. My main roles within the accounts department are to produce personal tax returns as well as VAT and CIS returns.

Away from the office I enjoy playing and watching a plethora of sports including cricket, golf, and football. I’m also a big Arsenal fan!

Amanda Finch

I am the office manager so deal with all everyday aspects of office life and administration, as well as liaising with clients.

When not at work I enjoy skiing, hiking, going to the gym, running, as well as gardening, relaxing and all the usual pursuits!

Stacey Robison

I work in the administration department, dealing with all associated work and speaking and liaising with clients.

I have a young son so am usually running around with/after him but get to the gym and run regularly.

Ellis Roxburgh

I am currently on an apprenticeship scheme working towards obtaining AAT qualification. I am getting hands on experience and developing skills to support the rest of the team.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and socialising with friends.
