Andrew Murphy FCA
I am a Chartered Accountant and formed Andrew Murphy Chartered Accountants (AMCA) in 1990. I am proud to say that AMCA merged with Randall Cole to form Murphy Collins in 2024. My principal aim is to understand my clients' needs and aspirations. Their business can then be structured in the most appropriate manner to achieve the clients' goals. Every client is different, and we must therefore adapt to each client: a set standard approach simply does not work.
It is my aim to ensure that every client knows we understand them and that we are “on their side”. Whilst I have lived and worked locally, I have developed a wide range of knowledge which enables me to advise businesses and individuals.
Away from the office I am intending to return to playing golf regularly and to ski occasionally. Sadly, I now spend more time watching the sports that I used to play.
Steven Collins FCA BSc Hons
I have been a Chartered Accountant since 2004. I formed Randall Cole in 2020, and am happy to say merged with AMCA to form Murphy Collins in 2024. I Have held board positions across a range of businesses including, of course, chartered accountancy firms, but also shipping, technology, engineering and waste management.
With this wealth of experience helping businesses across the country, I felt it was time for a change - not just for me, but for the accountancy industry. I am an advocate for technology and good management information. I love working with business owners to help them and with our personal clients I know that my hard work and dedication makes a difference.
Away from the office I enjoy spending time with my young family, exercising, martial arts, snowboarding and hiking.

I am kept very busy, when not in the office, with my family. But when I do have some free time, I like to spend it watching football (I support Sheffield United), playing badminton and snooker, but not all at the same time! I also like eating out and going to the cinema.
